Anita Ekberg is a Swedish actress and model. She started her career as a model, and then participated in Miss Sweden contest and won in 1950, which gave her the opportunity to fly to the United Stated to participate in the Miss World contest. From there she signed a contract with Universal studios, through which she starred in several films starting from the mid 1950s, including Blood Alley (1955), Hollywood or Bust (1956), and The Man Inside (1958). She is best known for her role as Sylvia in the Federico Fellini film La Dolce Vita (1960). |
