A Syrian composer, born in Damascus, Syria. He joined the Oriental Music Institute before working as a music teacher in secondary schools in Damascus. His musical works include the operetta "Martyrs of Arabism" and the song "La Talumi El Wardat". He is known for Sin Path (1969).
