He was tutored by international director Youssef Chahine and worked as an assistant director in a number of his most important films, most notably The Immigrant (1994), The Destiny (1997) and...Read more Silence...We're Rolling (2001). In his early days, he worked in the field of producing films, documentaries, and ads materials for European television channels. He started in the cinema in the early nineties and worked as an assistant director with directors Daoud Abdel Sayed and Yousry Nasrallah. His films include The Clown and Hide & Seek.
