    Toqa Hesham

    An Egyptian writer, journalist, and critic, born in 1917. He worked in Akher Sa’a and Akhbar El Yom magazines. He wrote the script for the movie Miss Hanafi (1945), based on a real incident of gender transition. He also wrote a number of songs for Shafik Galal, Samiha Murad, and Fatma Ali. He died in 1968.
