Zuzu Muhammed was an Egyptian actress. She was born in Cairo in 1924. Zuzu was raised up in the towns of Cairo and was closely attached to artists like Badia'a Masabny, whose attention she caught at one of her balls, which made her join her belly dancing troupe. Zuzu then moved to Baba Ezzeddin's troupe, with whom she worked for a short period of time before being cast in her debut film role in the 1944 film Lies and Lies. In 1952 Zuzu played one of her most memorable roles, as Soad in The Pickpocket's House. Zuzu is one of the most notable actresses to continue performing belly dancing numbers and acting in the same films. Her last film role was in Hassan and Marica in 1959.
