Mohamed Khairy Mohamed Al-Qalyubi was born in Cairo. He worked as an actor in many radio and television series, in supporting roles, including The Moon's Neighbour. He also directed several television series for children, including Adventures of Gilgil and Filfil. One of his most famous roles was the potato Farmer in the movie The Sin.
