An Egyptian writer, politician and thinker, born on May 14, 1911, in Minya Governorate. He worked as Minister of Culture and Guidance in the first ministry formed after 1952. He presented the library with many books, most notably The King and the Revolutionaries in a Wagon, and he was a prominent political opponent at the end of the 70s. He was arrested on September 5, 1981. He was one of the leaders of the old National Party. |
