He became known for the famous radio program What Would You Do If You Were in My Place? on Egyptian radio from the early sixties to the mid-nineties. He worked at Dar Al-Hilal, Al-Kawakib, and some Arab newspapers. He worked for Al-Gomhuria newspaper before joining Dar Al-Hilal. He co-wrote the script of the movie The Black Candles. He died in 1996.
