An Egyptian writer, journalist, and author who was born on April 5, 1929 in Cairo. He graduated from the Department of Philosophy and Sociology, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University in 1950. He obtained two diplomas in journalism and political science from the same college in 1953. He worked in several newspapers and magazines before joining the Syndicate of Journalists in 1957 He became known for the famous radio program, What Would You Do if you Were in my Place? in the Egyptian radio during the early sixties and the mid nineties. He worked at Dar Al-Hilal, Al-Kawakib, and some Arab newspapers. He worked for Al-Gomhouria newspaper before joining Dar Al-Hilal. He wrote the script of the movie, The Black Candles. He died on April 25 1996.
