    Shaimaa Saied

    An Egyptian director and writer. He is the son of the late Egyptian actor and director Ibrahim Emara and he was his assistant in several films, and the brother of the director of photography and producer Mohamed Emara. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema in the directing department in 1971. His directorial debut was The Girl and the Tramp (1976), which he also wrote, while his first series as a director was with the series The False Mask (1980).
