Mohamed Al Ezaby was born in Al-Hussein district in Cairo to the father of a musician. He graduated from the Faculty of Commerce. He worked as an employee in the General Petroleum Corporation before he turned to singing. He was discovered by Ezzat Al-Jahili. He joined the Reda Band in 1957 and became its singer and sang with them: The Anklet Ring, The Magic Flute, and Ramadan Lantern. He traveled with the band to all parts of the world before he separated from it in 1969. From his songs: How Are You, Luxor Is Our Country and Bahiya. He was honored at the Song Festival in 2003.
