A Moroccan novelist and poet, born in Fez, Morocco. He studied philosophy at Mohammed V University in the Moroccan capital, Rabat. He published his first book of poetry entitled "Men in the Shrouds of Silence" and published the novels "The Night of Mistake" (1997) and "Shelter...Read more of the Poor" (1999). He's known for The Mountain (2009) and Absentee Funeral Prayer (1996).
