Fathy Mohamed Koura was born on October 19, 1919, in the village of Al-Alaqamah, Ash Sharqia, and he died on August 18, 1977. He was an Egyptian lyric poet who was famous for composing songs of a fun nature, which is the singing style that composer Mounir Mourad loved. Therefore, they formed a duet, and they worked with many singers. Fathy Koura suffered an eye injury in the early sixties; Umm Kulthum and Mohamed Abdel Wahhab demanded that he be treated at the expense of the state, but it was too late, and he remained blind for many years. |
