An Egyptian actor, whose full name is Mohamed Fouad Amin Rateb, born in Zagazig. He started working on the radio with the help of radio presenter Hussein Fayyad. His real breakthrough came in 1952 through the program An Hour for Your Heart. He appeared in the films Love of a Millionaire, and The King of Petroleum. He graduated from the Faculty of Commerce in 1949, then held various governmental positions. He obtained several degrees in postgraduate studies. He worked on Kuwaiti television for many years. In 1975 he suffered from hemiparesis. He died in 1986 of a heart attack.
