An Egyptian director who obtained a diploma from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Directing Department in 1977. He worked as a director of television films. At the beginning of his career in 1981, he worked as an assistant director for a number of directors, including Samir Seif and Mohamed Abdelaziz. He worked for a while in Saudi Arabia as a director for promotional films. He wrote the movie The Gambler and worked as a director in the series Imam Al Shafiee.
