| Salma El-Sharkawy |
An Iraqi cinematographer, born in Baghdad. In 1953, he joined the film unit of the Iraq Petroleum Company, which at the time was responsible for producing newsreels and documentaries about Iraqi projects and tourism. When the Cinema and Theater Authority was established, he worked there as a cameraman on many of its films. His works include I See Good (1969), The Thirsties (1972), and Al Qadessiya (1981). He died in 1985. |
