Hala Shiha is an Egyptian actress, born to a Lebanese mother and an Egyptian father in Alexandria in 1979. She made her debut in 1997 through the series Eagle of the East, then her real start was when she participated in the series The Other Man (1999), to break into the field of cinema the following year by acting in the movie Why Did You Let Me Love You (2000). Hala Shiha is best known for her roles in A Secret Services' Suitor, The Ladder and the Snake. She retired from acting after filming the movie Mr. Perfect, which she represented while wearing the hijab. Recently, she returned to the artistic field and took a role in the series Zelzal (2019).

A retired actor, is the daughter of the plastic artist Ahmad Zulficar Sheeha and sister of actors Hana, Inaas and Maya. As a young actor playing the role of super star Hussein Fahmy’s daughter in the TV series “Kalemaat i.e. Words” has caught the audience eye. However playing the role of Manaar with great talent in series “Al-ragol al-aakhar i.e. The other man” with super stars Nour al-Shereef and Mervat Ameen launched her career. Hence, filmmakers gave her lead roles in “Al-sellem wal-tho’baan i.e. Snakes and ladders”, “Al-Lemby” and “Arees men Geha Amneya i.e. A Security Service Groom”. Young as she is, Hala decided to retire gradually after becoming more religious. She appeared veiled in her last film “Kaamel al-awsaaf i.e. The perfect man” with Aamer Mouneeb then she retired acting. She joined Nesreen, Hanaa Tharwat, and Hayaat Kandeel in retiring at such a young age. Hala lives away from the lights of fame in Alexandria where she leads a quiet life with her husband Youssef Harrison, an Italian/Canadian who converted to Islam.
