Bahihga El Mahdy is an Egyptian actress, was born in Alexandria on August 8, 1911, to a Jewish family. She joined Fatima Rushdi's theater troupe and became a member of it during her work in the theater. She married the Egyptian Jewish millionaire Elie Dari, who died three years later. She made her debut in 1935 with the movie Shaloom the Translator. The last movie she starred in was One Thousand and One Nights (1941). |
