A Lebanese director and screenwriter, born in Beirut in 1948. She went to France to study economics, and worked in the field of journalism after graduation. She directed many documentaries that exceeded 30 films, and also worked as an assistant director with Volker Schlöndorff through the film The Forger before working in fictional cinema. Among her feature films: Dunia, and La Dame de Saïgon. |
