Maryam Nouhy |
Lebanese journalist, novelist, and historian, born in 1887 in Jounieh. He then immigrated to Cairo, Egypt to work in journalism, writing, and translation. He taught translation at the school of Engineering. He then traveled to France and founded a publishing house in Angers. He founded several newspapers in France and Egypt but had to shut them down and finally settled for working at Dar Al-Hilal publishing house, where he wrote in several of its publications. He also published several books. He died in 1968.
