An Egyptian dancer and actress, born in the city of Alexandria in 1930, where she grew up until she decided to flee from her family's home to Cairo. She began her artistic career by working on Emad El-Din Street, which was famous for its nightclubs and theaters, then joined the Badia Masabni Casino, then worked in the Chokoko band, to move to work in the cinema, where she appeared in many films, mostly as a belly dancer. She's known for The Bravest Man in the World, Love Rumor, Adham Al-Sharqawi and Wife 13. She retired and moved away from the art scene in the mid-60s, and she passed away in 1988 after a heart attack. |
