An Egyptian actor, born in Cairo on February 23, 1929. He graduated from the Police College and worked as an officer, yet he joined the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts and graduated in 1951. In addition to acting, he worked at the Egyptian Intelligence Agency. He began his career as an actor in 1957 with the movie The Prisoner of Abu Zaabal), but he became known in The Second Man (1959). Badr Nofal participated in many Egyptian films after that, such as: Black Candles (1962), Saladin (1963), and Love on the Pyramids Plateau (1986). He also participated in several television series, such as: The Escaped Prisoner (1965) and The Days (1979). The plays in which he appeared include A Witness Who Has Seen Nothing (1976), Lock Up Your Daughters (1980), and Sayed the Servant (1993). Badr Nofal died in Cairo on October 13, 2000.
