She was born in Baghdad in 1948. She graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Fine Arts, Baghdad. She is one of the second generation of theater actresses. She worked in Baghdad Radio from 1966 to 1979. She participated in many plays and radio series and presented many cultural and varied programs. In the theater, she joined the Modern Artistic Theater Troupe in 1968, and her first theatrical work in the troupe was A New Picture, followed by Tomouse Rings the Bell, then Desolation, The Dream, and Lights on Everyday Life. On television, she represented many drama series from 1970 to 1980. In the cinema, she played the role of the child in the movie Who is Responsible?, and then the movie The Thirsties (1972).
