Maryam Nouhy |
An Egyptian actress born in Cairo to a poor family. She appeared in a few works then joined Badiaa Masabny's night club and learned dancing. She was discovered by director Salah Abu Seif and made her onscreen debut in the film The Adventures of Antar And Abla (1948). Her other credits include The Peasant's Son (1948) and It Wasn't on My Mind (1950). She then retired from acting and worked as a dancer in nightclubs. She died on 2 November 1975. |
