A film director, born in Baghdad in the Adhamiya region in 1924. He memorized the Qur’an in his childhood. He completed his secondary studies and worked in the office of the merchant Kamel Abdul Rahman Al-Adhamiya, then opened a library and a photography shop in the Adhamiya market in 1946, which he named Al-Saadoun Studio and Library. He worked as an employee in the Iraqi radio, and he was the first Iraqi film director. He directed the movie Have Mercy on Me.
