An Iraqi film director, born in Baghdad in the Adhamiyah region in 1924. He memorized the Quran in his childhood. He completed his secondary studies and worked in the office of the merchant Kamel Abdul Rahman Al Azami, then opened a library and a photography shop in the Adhamiyah market in 1946, which he named Al-Saadoun Studio and Library. He worked as an employee in the Iraqi radio, and he was the first Iraqi film director. He's known for Have Mercy on Me (1958). He died on 14 May 1968.
