An Egyptian actor, who was born in Cairo on March 22, 1923, and graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University in 1945. He joined the Higher Institute of Cinema. He was chosen by director Helmy Rafla to act in the film Hoda (1949). He worked with numerous stars, including Farid Shawqy and Adel Emam. He's known for the movies We're The Bus People (1979), A Dinner Date (1981), and The Street Player (1984), as well as the TV series The Whirlpool and Ali Al-Zaibaq. His acting career spanned over 40 years from 1949 till 1993. He passed away on 16 April 1995.
