Toqa Hesham |
An Egyptian writer and novelist, born in Zagazig, Sharkia Governorate in 1927 from the Abaza Circassian family, which is considered one of the oldest families in Egypt. He obtained a BA in Law from Fuad I University in 1950. He began his literary life at the age of sixteen, when he turned to writing short stories and radio dramas, then turned to writing novels. Abaza wrote more than forty radio series, forty short stories, and twenty-seven novels, among them are The Days, A Touch of Fear, and Spark in the Clouds. He died in 2003 after a long struggle with illness, after suffering from a malignant tumor in the stomach, at the age of 76.
