An Egyptian composer, born in Zeinin area in Imbaba and grew up in an artistic family, as his brother is singer Ali El Haggar. Ahmed El Haggar joined the Higher Institute of Arabic Music and learned to play the oud and the piano. He is famous for composing the music for some movie songs, most notably Mohamed Fouad's songs in the movie Pursuit of the American Dream (1993). |
