Egyptian film editor and director born on 28 January 1913. He began his career as an AD on the film The Lost Treasure (1938). He worked as an editor on the film A Man Between Two Women (1940), after which many films followed until the late 1960s. His notable works include Ambassador of Hell (1948), Oh Islam (1961), and Dreams Hotel (1968).
