An Egyptian writer and author, born in 1934. He is considered one of the most prominent writers of Egyptian historical drama. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts, department of English. He studied script writing in Germany. He held many positions in the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, director of the Cinema Support Fund, and head of the National Theater Center. From his works: The Man of Destinies, The Knights and The Heroes S1. He died of a sudden heart attack at his home on May 23, 2006.
