A Libyan actor, one of the pioneers of theater and folk arts. He joined the National Ensemble for Acting and Music in 1956. Among his most famous plays in which he participated are the play “The Marshal”and “The Cave People”. He also joined the Tripoli Folk Arts Troupe at the beginning of the sixties of the last century. He is considered one of the pioneers in the art of monologues, or what is known as a satirical song, the most famous of which is the monologue “Between My Mother and My Lady”. He also designed clothes for a number of plays and TV series. He participated in a number of local and international festivals through the Folklore Troupe, which starred in the late sixties and seventies and won the first ranks in international festivals. He died on Thursday, January 15, 2015.
