Add/Update Information: Kamal Eid - Director

An Egyptian director, cinematographer and producer, born in Cairo in 1931. He graduated from the Institute of Acting in 1952, and began his career as a school theater inspector in Alexandria in 1955, then as an inspector of theaters and nightclubs at the Department of Arts, then he traveled on a study mission to Hungary in the early sixties. The beginning of his artistic career was in the theater, where he directed the 1962 play Then the Sun Rises, before starting to work in the cinema in the eighties, where he served as a director of photography for the movie Registered As Done by an Anonymous Culprit (1981). He also worked on A Date with Wolves, and A Premeditated Marriage. He traveled to Saudi Arabia in the nineties, where he taught theatrical arts at King Saud University in Riyadh, before returning to Egypt in 2001. He passed away in 2008.
