Al Taweel formed a successful duo with singer Abdel Halim Hafez, as they presented many successful songs together, including 'In a Day, in a Month, in a Year.' Al Taweel also composed the score of various films and series, including The Return of the Prodigal Son (1976) and Destiny (1997). He retired and died on the 9th of July 2003.
