An Egyptian journalist and author, born in Damietta, on July 11, 1913. He joined the Faculty of Engineering at Fouad I University and did not stay away from journalism. He has been working at Kawkab al-Sharq newspaper as a sports editor since 1929. In 1937, he became famous because he was the only journalist who accompanied the Egyptian negotiation delegation to London. In 1942, he was elected as a member of the House of Representatives. When Makram Ebeid resigned from the Wafd Ministry in July 1942. He was a writer of free opinion, so he was imprisoned and remained there until July 1944. In prison, he established close relations and friendship with Sadat and Ali Maher Pasha. During his 75-year career he presented many political and journalistic books.
