An Egyptian writer and author, born in 1919 in Giza District. He received his primary and secondary studies in Cairo, but he was unable to complete his higher studies due to the lack of his family's capabilities. He moved to Cairo in 1941, and began his professional career by writing for The Last Hour magazine. He gained wide fame at the beginning of his journalistic and literary life when he was writing the short story signed May is Little. He won the State Encouragement Award for the short story in 1968. Among his artworks are: Runaway from Life in 1964 and Hero in 1950. He died on February 1, 1991, and was buried in his hometown of Wardan village. |
