A Sudanese actor, born to a Sudanese father and an Egyptian mother in 1936,. He worked at the beginning at Radio Corner of Sudan, until he met one of the producers by chance, who convinced him that he could work as an actor. He came to Egypt in 1954, and completed his artistic studies, where he graduated in 1961 from the Institute of Theatrical Arts. He debuted with the movie Ways of the Heart (1956), after which his works continued between cinema, television and theater. He is famous for his role in the series Raafat El Hagan. He passed away in 2007 after a struggle with cirrhosis of the liver and lungs..
