Lebanese actor and comedian born in Beirut in 1937. He emerged in the 1960s where he appeared in several Lebanese and Egyptian films such as Antar Invades the Desert (1960) and A Bedouin in Paris (1964). Afterwards, he turned to theater after Hassan Alaa El Din founded the National Theater. He became famous after appearing in plays like Shousho and the Million, and Happiness Hotel. He also appeared in several series such as The Teacher and the Professor (1980), which he wrote, and Captain Bob (1988). He was married twice and had 3 children. He passed away in 2004 in Beirut, at age 67.
