She participated in several famous plays. She became known for the movie The Winds of the Aures (1966), directed by Mohammed Lakhdar-Hamina, for which he won an award at the Cannes Festival in 1966. She performed the role of Amina in Al Sokareya, the third installment of Naguib Mahfouz trilogy. She worked in 70 plays and 20 films, in addition to many television roles. Her last work was the play The Watchmen in 1991.
