An Egyptian Islamic writer and novelist who wrote Arab Historical fiction that has been adapted into works like Rabaa Al-Adawiya (1963) and Master of the Mountain (1977). She worked for a period as director of the International Press Office for Publishing, which was publishing a weekly magazine called “New Colors”.
She became known in the fifties and sixties. She wrote several books and published many articles in Arab literary and cultural magazines such as Al-Hilal and Al-Arabi magazine. The Minister of Endowments at the time wrote introductions to her books, and Gamal Abdel Nasser wrote the introduction to her book “Mosques and States.”
