Egyptian playwright and theatre director born on 25 December 1945. He began his career in theater in 1967 with the play "The Mask". He directed over 20 plays for the Labor Theater then moved to the Cultural Theater. He is the father of actors Manal and Sherif Salama. He died after a battle with liver disease on March 10, 1997. |
