When he returned to Egypt, he participated in many works in the forties, as an actor and director, and among those works Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves, and Passion and Revenge. His work continued until the late seventies, and among his most prominent films are The Nightingale's Prayer, and The Sin. He passed away in 1978.
