Hisham Ahmed Abdel Khalek Maatouk was born in 1979. He is an Egyptian producer, screenwriter and director who lives in Paris. In 2008 he founded the production company "So Freakantastik". He is also an opera producer. He was the artistic director of the production of "Aida" in Doha and at the Pyramids of Giza. His works include a long documentary film: A Margin in the History of the Ballet (2016) and the short films Destiny (2008), Goodbye Joe (2009), and Behind the Ego (2016). In 2015, he directed the ceremony of Egypt's candidacy for the seat of the Security Council at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on October 13, in the presence of United Nations ambassadors and some foreign ministers of some countries.
