Lebanese actor and poet whose father was poet Khalil Haswani. He went to school in Beirut and studied Law at Saint Joseph University for 3 years but dropped out to pursue a teaching career. He never lost sight of the field of music, acting, and poetry. When the Rahbani Brothers were preparing for their musical The Season of Glory (1960), he contacted them and they hired him as a dancer. However, when Assi Rahbani heard his voice, he made him a singer and actor. Afterwards, he became one of the Rahbani theater stars. He also made several appearances including the film The Seller of Rings and the play Mays Al Reem.
