A Lebanese singer and songwriter, born in 1942. He began as a vocalist in the choir behind Fayruz, and soon became the most important voice in Ziad Rahbani's work. He is famous for his singing most of the prominent works of the Lebanese musician Ziad Rahbani. He participated with Fayrouz and the Rahbani brothers in a number of plays, most notably (Lulu), (Maysam al-Reem) and songs. He also participated in all of Ziad's plays. He was married to Mrs. Ghada, and he had a son and a daughter.
