Maryam Nouhy |
Syrian actor and composer, born in Aleppo in 1926. He began working in showbusiness as an amateur then he worked as a producer and director in Aleppo Radio. He then worked at the Syrian Television in Damascus as a vice president of the Music Program. His acting credits include the film Wake Up (1975), the play Cheers Nation (1979), and the series The Valley of Musk (1982). He wrote and composed hundreds of successful Syrian songs, specifically patriotic songs. He has also collaborated with the Tishreen Family Troupe since 1972 and presented four plays with them, the last of which was Windflower (1987). |
