Taim Hassan a Syrian actor. He was born in the coastal city of Tartous in an area called Sheikh Badr, and his father worked as a German language teacher. At the age of four he moved with his family to live in the capital, Damascus. He studied law for two years by correspondence in Lebanon, then he applied to join the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, acting department, and was rejected the first time, then he applied again and was accepted. At that time, the artist Jamal Suleiman was head of the admissions committee, and he graduated in 2001. His acting debut was in the series Al-Zeir Salim in 2000 as Hagras, and the series achieved unparalleled success. After that, he continued his television roles, most notably The Palestinian Alienation, Nizar Qabbani, Saqr Quraish. He entered the world of Egyptian drama by playing the title character in the series King Farouk, and then became famous in Egypt, where he played several roles in cinema and television.
