Shaimaa Saied |
A Lebanese director, born in Lebanon. He studied cinema at the University of Paris in the early 1970s, participated in the student revolution that broke out in Paris in 1968, and then returned to Lebanon. He directed several documentaries, including Tall el Zaatar, Song of the Free, and Hostage of Time. He's known for Women Beyond Borders (2004) and In the Shadows of the City (2000). He died on 11 August 2017. |
