A Lebanese film director, screenwriter, and producer, born in the city of Zahlé, Lebanon. He studied theater and philosophy at the Lebanese University, then traveled to Paris to study cinema. He began his film career in the early 1990s, directing a number of documentaries and short films. In 2004, he directed his first feature film, Ring of Fire, which participated in several international film festivals and won a number of awards. Among his credits are Here Comes the Rain (2011) and Good Morning (2018).
