A Qatari actress of Iraqi origin who obtained Qatari citizenship after marrying Qatari. She was born and lived in Kuwait and began acting in 1976 by taking part in a number of television shows at a young age. In 1980, she took part The Bullies (1980) with the artist Abdel Hussein Abdelrazeq. She studied at the Higher Institute of Musical Arts, but did not graduate because of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. She then left Kuwait, settled in Qatar and married a Qatari, with three children, Al-Faisal, Ahmed and Dima. She stopped acting in 2001, but continued to work in the media as a children's presenter on Qatar Television, and in 2011 decided to return to acting with a play called Disrespect.
