Dalia Saad |
An Egyptian novelist and playwright, born in Damietta Governorate on January 3, 1941. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University in 1968. He worked as the Director General of Theater at the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, and served as a member of the Permanent Committee for Theater at the Supreme Council of Culture. His notable plays include The Minarets of El Mahrousa, and Revenge and the Journey of Torment. He also wrote TV series, such as: Bitter Lakes, Love in the Time of Drought, and Forbidden Deals. He received many awards, including Best Playwright at the 4th Egyptian National Theater Festival for the play Under Threat, which was performed at El Hanager Theater. |
